Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold at the team events along with the floor exercises. In the balance beam Raisman received a bronze. It made her an the only American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal in the team event that brought her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercise. The break was for three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. As a young girl when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark range of leotards. She's writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
